Service Description

A body-based, conversational session focused on awareness, resourcing, and nervous system tracking. Somatic sessions support the body in noticing and gently completing stress responses that may not have had the chance to fully resolve at the time they occurred. We move slowly, following what the body is ready for, and prioritizing choice, pacing, and safety. Each session includes time to share simple embodiment tools you can practice on your own to support regulation and awareness between sessions. This session may be supportive if you’re seeking: – body-based support without hands-on work – help working with anxiety, chronic stress, or overwhelm – a greater sense of connection to bodily cues and boundaries πŸŒ€ This session does not include craniosacral touch. Note: Riverways Somatic sessions by Kristen Dawn are not massage therapy, physical therapy, psychotherapy, or medical treatment. I do not diagnose conditions, prescribe treatments, or provide medical or mental-health care. Clients are encouraged to continue working with licensed health-care providers for any medical or psychological concerns.

a Program of Riverways Somatic Practice

Collinsville, CT

This course is for educational and informational purposes only and is not a substitute for medical, psychological, or psychiatric care. The practices offered are designed to support nervous system awareness and embodied self-regulation, but they are not therapy. If you are experiencing severe trauma symptoms, dissociation, or mental health crisis, please seek support from a licensed healthcare provider in your area. By participating in this course, you acknowledge responsibility for your own wellbeing and pace yourself accordingly. Heal Religious Trauma is currently a program of Riverways Somatic Studio and is not yet (but hopefully soon!) a nonprofit organization.
